Nocturne Weekend

It is Nocturne weekend here in Halifax. We went out for our annual stroll to see the installations. Something that I found this year was that the density seems down. There are still lots of things to see, but the walking seemed more than other years.
I haven't been out a lot, especially when the kiddos were too small to enjoy the installations, but this is a pattern that I'm seeing in a lot of the festivals and such. They SPREAD rather than densify, and when there isn't density of events, booths, installations, etc there isn't density of people.
This is especially important for a night event. There were a couple of installations that we skipped because it was extremely dark, with very few people around, so we didn't check it out. If its a tiny light in the middle of the common, and there are not people coming/going from it, there is a good chance that its not an installation that is part of nocturne.
It was a nice walk, I didn't get many pictures, holding on to kids, staying still for longer exposure shots, and only getting one chance, means most aren't going to come out the way you want, but it was a nice evening.
Blue light
Actually I do have one obersvation that threw me, why so much 6000-7000K light in the installations? Its not something I enjoy, and it just reminds me of spaces where you are trying to keep people from shooting up Even though the evidence shows that blue light DOESN'T do this, and it has many more harms to public health.
