A new week

Last week was exhausting. First there was the Canadian Election where the Liberal's won the most seats and get the first opportunity to form another government with Mark Carney as PM. While I was hoping for a majority of seats for the Liberals in this round, I'm relieved at the result. They have enough seats where they only need one other party (or a couple MPs in that party) to support them to get legislation past.

The biggest news was the leader of the CPC losing their seat, a seat they held for most of their adult life.

Now that the distraction of the election is over, there is a lot of work to do. The first budget and the next 12 months will see if there is substance to all the campaign talk.

I have a lot more thoughts, but for now, the sun is shining and I need to get my work done so I can get out there and enjoy it.
