I host two versions of my home page, one on local shared hosting and the other on a nas at home, both are mostly identical, at least the pelicanssg part.

I have a very similar BASH script to kev that I run when its time to update. No fancy cloudflare or github/codeberg pages need.

Turns out that I was right about the 50%, the hashed posts thing isn't working. This link should go to that post claiming that I had this 50% figured out.... I would ask you to reply to help out, but obviously that ain't going to work.

Something that I have been thinking about building, but have never really dug into, is a universal RSS -> ____ bot thing. Something that I can add an OPML to and let it post to all my places with some rules.

Like my pelican site to pixelfed but only if there is an opengraph image, etc. Seems like something that I could "whip up" with python.

Phew, I almost broke this again, and that would have been annoying. I overwrote my twtxt file when I updated the site; but that shouldn't happen again ... I hope.

I still haven't figured out how replying or hashing working with this yet, I guess it is something that I can figure out later. For now its a fast way to post my thoughts for the future.

I'm about 50% sure that this is working smoothly. It's that low because I don't know how timeline is supposed to work. I will have some time later and dig into it some more. As it is, this is a much smoother way to update my twtxt.txt file than the manual way I was doing it.

I changed a few things on the twtxt file so I want to make sure that it all works out.
