I don’t know what’s going on here, but I don’t like it.
There are still lots of flowers and bees in the last few days of summer. But there are wasps too Something that I don’t like this time of year are the wasps. I found this one killing a bee. I didn’t know what was going on when I started shooting the camera video. I killed […]
I was doing a bit of work in the yard and saw this amazing web, I had to stop working to let it do its work. I should check on it today.
Lots of bees and a blue jay. Our neighbour installed a honey bee hive this summer and along with the bumble bees we get the odd honey bee too.
This is from last year, but the sunflowers are coming along nicely in the garden this year. And this year I have my Canon EOS R6 and a 70-200mm f4 to play with, expect to see a lot of birds this year, but with their eyes in focus rather than the flower.
Sometimes I have nothing to post but a pretty flower from the archives that I haven’t posted before. Today is one of those days.
Someone liked hanging out on the laundry this morning.
All photos taken with the Canon EOS R6 and edited with iOS photos. 😀
I was able to get out to take some pictures with my camera this weekend, but I haven’t had a chance to look at them let alone edit them. This shot is from early in the summer of a little bird eating at the feeder, by fall they were eating at the sunflowers.
The temperature is dripping quickly at night so I don’t know how many weeks we will have with it. But it’s ready for spring regardless.
The plastic is on the collapsible greenhouse, the ikea shelves are assembled and we are almost ready for plants. All that is left is to build the door, and make a floor like structure.
A project I started a couple weeks ago is almost ready for “glazing”. Painting the roof and sides this afternoon.
The bees haven’t been all over the garden today.
This is another quick handheld picture with my Canon 60D. If I look closely there is always something to take a picture of.
