Lots of bees and a blue jay. Our neighbour installed a honey bee hive this summer and along with the bumble bees we get the odd honey bee too.
This is from last year, but the sunflowers are coming along nicely in the garden this year. And this year I have my Canon EOS R6 and a 70-200mm f4 to play with, expect to see a lot of birds this year, but with their eyes in focus rather than the flower.
Sometimes I have nothing to post but a pretty flower from the archives that I haven’t posted before. Today is one of those days.

The week that they are perfect is almost over, but here are some shots I took of them while they stuck around. I will add a few more here as they get lighter and lighter pink.

That’s all, I miss summer in Halifax, even in 2020 it was the best time of the year.
I’ve been trying to get a picture I like of a bee on a flower, and this is the first time I’ve been able to get one. I updated my now page this week.
The bees haven’t been all over the garden today.
