This was the second day this week I started the day wandering the park, another amazing day.
This is another throwback to 2010 on a beautiful October trip to the Bowl and Pitcher in Spokane, Wa.
This is picture I took way back in 2009. I think it still holds up.
The first flowers in our yard are poking through.
While slow roasting a pork shoulder is not as time intensive as a brisket, but it does take all day. I’m glad I was able to get it on the Kamado Joe around 9am. Now, off to the office.
On the walk around town to help the baby get a nap in I hear some sirens, turns into a lot of sirens, so I get out of there quick. They just went to sleep. There was a small fire and a lot of trucks, but everything was under control quickly.
A bright sunny day, after many days of wind is exactly when I’d expect the power to go out.

This was taken at the Ronald Reagan airport in DC in 2018. I was there for a Smart Grid Conference. I went again in 2019 and haven’t been back since, maybe 2022 will see me travelling for conferences again. I miss people.
And in case you can’t tell, it’s full of pineapple.

We got all the snow last night, there was a lot blowing around, and feels like it all drifted into our little street. How did you make out with the snow this weekend ?
Update: Well, at least I know what I’m doing this afternoon.
I can’t wait for the warm weather and colourful flowers.
It’s starting to stay brighter longer and I’m excited to bbq more this year.
I took this in the middle of January before we had any snow on the ground. It was a great wander in the woods.
