Montana high prairie

High Prairie in Montana

The rolling hills of Montana.  I haven’t been East or North enough to see the vast expanses of these rolling hills, without the mountains poking up on the horizon.

Lonely wheel

Wheel in the high prairie

There are a lot of neat shots in Montana, I wish I had the time to spend weeks just wandering around this tiny corner of the state.  There are some trails in the mountains shown in the background that I would like to spend a week or two this August hoping from peak to peak, [...]

Keeping watch

Whatcha see Boy?

The first week at the Mystic Lake Powerhouse we got to take a ride in the tram to the surge tower.  It is a 1000′ elevation change over a couple hundred feet. The view from there is amazing, if you are there on a clear night you can see clear to Billings, Mt. In the [...]

This was another case reminding me that

Swinging Bridge

Rail Bridge

Rail Bridge

We were on our first trip out of Spokane to tour the Palouse in the early Spring of 2010.  Then we came across this old rail bridge outside of Rosalia. I thought that it looked very similar to the old bridge structures in Spokane proper.
